Start a Personal Assessment with your Personal Fitness Trainer

Joseph Coupal - Wednesday, December 16, 2020
Answer is Fitness, Canton, MA

If you have a personal trainer, you can expect them to periodically measure and reassess your progress. This is fundamentally important because when you exercise regularly then you are going to see measurable results. And measurable progress is motivating and highly rewarding.

Do not think of these progress reviews like a performance review at work. This is meant to assess your current fitness level and how your body is reacting to the current cycle of your exercise routine. If your progress toward reaching your goals is not as far along as expected, then you may hear some things you are not ready to hear. Few people like to hear criticism from someone, however, it is necessary to improve in some situations. If you've been following your plan in and out of the gym and it isn't working, then you'll have to reassess the plan and the execution. If you're not following the plan, then the reason for the failure is simple. You need to rededicate yourself or figure out how to avoid the root causes for your inability to adhere to the plan you and your personal trainer put together.

Discussing your fitness goals with your personal trainer lets both of you work out a plan to achieve your overall goals. The assessments should be set up at regular intervals. One month, three months, and six months are common. When one of the intervals is reached, you and the trainer will set down with each other and discuss where you have come, where you have been, and where you are going.

The trainer will guide you through the process. But they will not do your exercises for you. Physical activity is still best accomplished by the individual who most needs its benefits. Once you complete it, you will have a sense of accomplishment and a boost of morale when your trainer is complementing your success. If you have a personal trainer sit down with them and ask to do a personal assessment, or if you would like to learn more about our trainers, we have a whole page dedicated to their philosophies and expertise. FITNESS TIPS: Being Fit is Well Worth The Effort

Joseph Coupal - Thursday, December 10, 2020
Answer is Fitness - Canton, MA

It is utterly rewarding to put time and effort to become physically fit. Many people are saying that they want to be fit however only small percentage actually achieve it. This is because fitness requires discipline, challenging discipline. It take many of us a period of starts and stops before we finally get it all together. So, if you are like the scores of people out there who have started, stalled, and started fitness again, do not fret. That is normal. You’re going to find your groove eventually. We can help you do that.

Those who are determined to be fit incorporate challenging exercise into their lives so often that soon they begin to enjoy and look forward to it. And this goes with moderate eating too. Choosing the meals based on the nutrition rather than taste and desire. It is better to go more on greens, fruits and less lean protein at most meals. Being fit makes it a habit to limit the food intake of simple carbohydrates and gets lots of protein and fiber. Scrap off your favorite junk foods that you really want. It is important to cut off sugars and harmful, processed fats out of your diet completely. Overall, the calories intake will be limited all the time. Always take note that even good calories will add up to weight gain when you are not careful and not in control.

To make it more successful to be fit, it is better to push your body to be stronger, faster, and better during each exercise. Focusing on your goal consistently challenges your muscles to do more each day. Living a fit life means pushing harder because doing exercise is a constant progression to achieve your fitness goal.

Physical Benefit of Exercise

Joseph Coupal - Thursday, December 10, 2020

Physical activity is fundamentally important to the wellness of both body and mind. It is important to prioritize regular, vigorous exercise for health and fitness. It is a profoundly positive way to reenergize in the afternoon after a long hard morning or in the evening after a long hard day. Of course, some choose to energize their day from the start via morning exercise, and that’s great too. You just need to experiment and find what works for you.

Being active will improve your health tremendously and reduce the risk of developing many diseases as you age. You will be benefited from immediate and long-term health benefits. There are many ways to increase your daily activity such as walking or cycling instead of using the car or getting off at the bus stop earlier and walking the rest of the way, or walking the children to school. Being active will improve your quality of life and it will make you more alert and vigilant in your daily activities. It is a great way to be conscious of your body as it will reduce your risk of any possible diseases like heart attack, diabetes, osteoporosis, and lower blood pressure, etc. Precisely with your energetic activity you will have stronger bones and muscles, develop a good mood, feel more relaxed, and sleep better.

Further, doing exercise on a daily basis is a good fight against depression. Being on the go, fitness will provide an opportunity to increase social contact, block negative thoughts, and lift your mood. Increasing physical activity makes it work for you, your body, and wellbeing and gives you a positive outlook on life.
