Maintaining your physical and mental well-being is a life priority each day. However, with the abrupt change and surging amount of stress related to this ongoing pandemic, it may seem difficult to keep your general health at optimum level. If you don't know where to start, here are tips in how to stay healthy and fit during this pandemic.

    Nutrition - Instead of hoarding preserved foods or canned goods every time you head to the grocery, take time to check your pantry and make an inventory. Plan out your meals and go healthy options. Opt for fresh produce.

    Fitness - Physical activity is essential in conditioning your body and boosting your immune system. As of now Answer is Fitness club is still close as per local government's mandate. For the meantime, we provide home workouts to our members by our instructors and staff through Facebook. You may perform those workouts at home or do your daily jog or walk so long as you observe social distancing while exercising outside your home. Keep posted to our reopening date.

    Sleep - Sleep is crucial to your health. Stress is the primary cause of sleep disruption. Thus, it is important to manage your stress to improve the quality of your sleep. Exercising workouts that promote meditation can help manage stress resulting to a better nighttime sleep.

    Cleaning - Cleaning your house, decluttering old stuff and sanitizing surfaces, doorknobs, faucets and railings will not only ward off the virus from your home, but doing it is also a good workout. It's like hitting two birds in one stone.

Sweating is Good for You

Fitness enthusiast love to sweat, it makes them feel as thought they are getting a better workout. For many, sweat means they are pushing themselves during exercise. Sweating helps regulate your body temperature. Sweating is the release of a salt-based fluid from your sweat glands. Sweating during exercise is good for your health. As the saying goes, no sweat, no glory. In many cases, sweating during exercise provides enormous health benefits including boosting your energy, maintaining a healthy weight, and improving your mood.

You sweat when you exercise. Sweating is how your body cools itself. Sweat keeps your body temperature safe no matter how intense the workout. As it evaporates, it cools your skin and your blood beneath your skin. Surprisingly, people who are more fit tend to sweat faster and more profusely during exercise than those who are less fit. It is noticeable that as your fitness level improves, your body heat-regulating system becomes more efficient, cooling you down faster and allowing you to work harder.

On the other side, it does not imply that a low-sweat workout means you are not working hard enough or burning enough calories. There are low intensity workouts that are just as beneficial to your body and mind. So expect that you will sweat more depending on the environment or the intensity of the workout.
