I have truly found what I love to do for a living. Having the opportunity to help others improve their health and lives through exercise is what fires me up and gets me jumping out of bed every morning. I look at exercise as a preventative medicine. The evidence and medical research is overwhelming and continues to show that exercise and proper nutrition will reduce your risk of just about every physical or mental ailment known to man. Saying that, it also amazes me that our country is more over weight and out of shape now than ever before with our children showing the highest increase in weight gain and health risks. It would take a large army of trainers like myself to put a small dent in what needs to be done to help others improve their health. My hope is that with a few wellness professionals and friends, I can do my part in improving as many lives as I can as a Professional Fitness Trainer.

I look at myself as a coach, instructor and most importantly a motivator and self-esteem builder. I provide fun, safe and effective fitness and nutritional programs to my clients, enabling them to reach their goals and make fitness a more active part of their life.

Getting in shape and staying in shape takes hard, consistent work but I inject as much fun and variety into each session as I can. Along the way, my clients and I roll up our sleeves, put our heads together, work hard and team up to steer towards personal goals that we identify from the beginning. We reflect on the past, set goals, learn and make needed adjustments along the way and concentrate on the now and the future with not much regard for what you did or did not do in the past. My fitness formula is simple and includes the following:

  • Fun, interactive sessions and instruction
  • The seven dimensions of fitness: resistance training, cardio training, flexibility, psychological well being, rest & recuperation, proper nutrition and nutritional supplementation when needed
  • Planned workouts with your progress recorded every session
  • Ongoing fitness and life schedule planning to help you stay on track with your program
  • Fitness Assessments along the way to set baseline goals, establish future goals and gauge progress along the way
  • Proper form, technique and Biomechanics of all exercise movements for safe and effective training. Simply put, efficiently working muscle while protecting joints and avoiding unnecessary injuries along the way so you can exercise and Train for life
  • Rehabilitative exercise when necessary to strengthen your body's weak links and prevent future injuries or rebound from a current injury.
  • Continuous client education on the latest health, fitness and nutrition information during workout sessions, in my monthly newsletter at

SEAN - Trainer/InstructorPHILOSOPHY - My philosophy in terms of fitness can be summed up with one word…HOLISTIC. To achieve optimum health, one must be “exercising” care in all facets of their life. Nutrition, cardiovascular, flexibility and resistance are the four major components which comprise physical fitness. However, mental, emotional, and spiritual health are also aspects of all programs I design for my clients.

As a former three-sport standout (football, basketball, baseball) and graduate of 1995 from North Attleboro High School, my athletic career culminated with induction into the Attleboro Area Football Hall of Fame in 2008. From 2009-2011 I helped improve the health of members at Boston Sports Clubs on the East Side of Providence, RI as a nationally certified Personal Fitness Trainer by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America or (AFAA), and continue to hold this as my primary certification. I have also studied and participated in the well-respected KBC Kettlebell instructors’ course.

My personal interests range from training a client base made up of older clients with pre-existing injuries such as low-back pain to training young athletes looking to improve performance. Outside of the gym I prefer to stay active with hiking, biking, skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and basically any team sport you can think of!

JIM - Trainer/InstructorPHILOSOPHY - RESULTS RESULTS RESULTS!! Plain and simple. I love to push my clients to their breaking point. Seeing results is not only important to my clients but it is just as important to me to see them succeed. I like to make training fun and have a blast while working hard. Training is a lifestyle and I believe it is something everybody should participate in. If you have the want and drive to get results I can surely help. Eat well, be sore!

I have been working out since I was 17 years old. I am certified with AAAI/ISMA. I am also CRP/AED Certified. I played baseball from tee-ball up until I finished the Massachusetts Independent Baseball League in 2008.

Quality Family Time, Fantasy Baseball, Fantasy Football, All Sports, Most importantly...EATING!

Bruno Ragusa - Trainer/InstructorPHILOSOPHY - Physical fitness, performance and appearance have been a passion of mine since I was young. The opportunity to help others reach their fitness goals makes me feel that I am contributing to the well-being of others and also to the epidemic of obesity in our country. I believe that fitness is like a loving relationship: you have to work at it every day in order for it to be healthy. I also believe that it is never too late to start on the path to better health. I believe it is important to balance life so that work, recreation and exercise & nutrition are a part of daily life. Without a physical outlet, we know that stress can impact health. However, maintaining a daily exercise schedule allows people to have a better quality of life, and I like being a part of that process.
