Sometimes you must change. A commitment to fitness will change you for the better. Prepare to feel great about your appearance and your newfound confidence when you exercise regularly. It will leave you happy and relaxed.
Think of your fitness goals as your reason for becoming more active. Is it because you want to lose weight, sleep better, increase your energy, gain strength, add muscle tone and flexibility or just feel good. Whatever it is, it is your choice. Choose an activity that you will enjoy. Variety is the key in choosing your activities. If you get bored with one activity, try a different one. Always focus on your fitness goals and chart your progress. Setting a realistic goal for yourself to achieve will motivate you to enjoy the challenge and remember to progress slowly. Sometimes there are bad days when you feel tired and do not exercise. Just ignore it and get back on track the next day. When you achieve your fitness goals or steps to a goal, give yourself a treat or preferably a healthy one. And since everyone has a busy schedule, set a specific time aside each day that will help you build activity into your daily routine.
It is highly important to be physically active. Get motivated to improve your fitness. It will be hard to get motivated especially if it is cold or raining outside. But you will exercise and get active anywhere, at home, work or outside. Whatever your age or ability, any activity is better than none. Develop a healthy lifestyle!
