No person is perfect. Fitness enthusiasts all pursue improvement. Some want more toned abs, bigger arms, more cut thighs, etc. The fact of the matter is a very small percentage of humans possess genetics to match the magazine model. But what each and every one of you can do is to learn to embrace your imperfections and celebrate who you are physically.
Keep in mind that not everything is physical. Stop comparing yourself to others because first you know that everyone is different. There are plenty of ways to move past your physical flaw and focus on the positive aspects of your appearance and your personality. Add physical activity to your daily routine. There is always a way to fit some physical activity into your day. Build exercise into your everyday activities by trying things like going to the gym or practicing yoga or other activities. Choose activities that are not weather-dependent on days when it might be too hot or too cold. Anyway, the gym is the safest place to exercise. And the best sort of physical activity is the one you enjoy because that is the one that you will maintain. There will come up lots of excuses to avoid exercise. Choose an activity that feels comfortable and does not push yourself too hard. If it hurts, decrease the intensity or stop altogether.
Finding the time and interest to build physical activity into your daily life will sometimes be difficult. Change your mindset and try to become more active, not less. So, get moving and no more excuses!
