Exercise will give you a better mood, more energy, decrease risk of disease, and increase confidence! Fitness is more fun with friends to workout with you. Not only does exercise have loads of positive effects on your physical health but it also has a massive impact on your mental health by improving confidence, reducing stress and anxiety, and increasing motivation.
Being physically active to people with depression reduces their symptoms to the same level as their medication did. About two-thirds of adults will experience depression at some point, so this shows how important exercise is to all of you. In addition, exercise and fitness are not just for the physical effects. It goes a long, long way beyond that. Remember that exercise and fitness are allowed to be whatever you need them to be. Others for building strength, for mental health, healthy habits, socialization and for balance and coordination. Moreso, being active daily gives you mental clarity and you will stay sharp and focused on your daily activity. Do not get caught up in what other people are telling you about exercise and fitness. Focus on just hitting the weekly requirements for strength and cardio instead of the made-up stuff people are marketing and you will be a lot better off.
Remember to build up the strength and courage to start something and better have the dedication to finish it. Without commitment, you will never start but more importantly without consistency you will never finish. You will make results or make excuses… pick your choice!
