We’ve had joyous conversations with our members regarding their gifting a membership to a friend or family member. When that person actually embraces the gift and the fitness lifestyle, unbelievable positive change occurred. There is very reason to be proud of being a part in helping another transform into happier and healthier people.
Practicing healthy habits daily will attain better physical and mental health outcomes. Wellness will encourage the balance of your physical activity, nutrition, and mental well-being. It will keep your body in top condition which will allow yourself to nurture personal responsibility for your own health. With fitness, it is very important for good health.
Many people having a fitness goal in mind gives them something to work towards, motivates them to stay on track and provides a measure of how well they are doing. It is important that if you want to become physically active, realistic, well-planned goals will keep you focused and motivated. In focusing on your fitness goal, you need to be realistic. Think about what is achievable for you. There are people who normally make their ultimate goal a general statement like, ‘I want to lose weight.’ But never do something about it. Instead make it measurable. Be specific in exactly how many kilograms you want to lose. Then consider how you will reach that goal. Like weight loss, it will require you to regularly burn more calories than you consume. It will be effective if you have a secondary fitness goal in mind. For example, if your goal is losing 20 kg, the ability to jog for 20 minutes will be your secondary goal. Achieving this secondary goal is still a great success. Never give up. You are worth the effort.
Always remember that an exercise program is always the most challenging. Adjust your goals, persist and have faith that things will get easier with time. Remember to celebrate your progress, no matter how small. Making a commitment to a healthier lifestyle is a tremendous achievement.
