Simply put, being fit makes you feel and perform better. Being physical fit raises your self-esteem. You always have something to celebrate even during those times when everything seems to try and take you down.
Fitness as a personal passion is a natural way to shed stress. It helps starting (or ending) your day knowing that you have done something good for yourself. It is a part of your life because it keeps you healthy and strengthens your bones. After you exercise, it provides positive feedback related to goals and motivates you to move forward on non-physical goals as well.
