Start Simple and Achievable Goals in Your Fitness Journey

There is no one ‘best way’ to lose weight. There is so much information floating around about the ‘best’ way to lose weight, with all this information it will be confusing on where to begin. The best way to lose weight is setting up a few small mini habits, starting simple and starting small in your fitness journey.
Starting with mini habits is the best plan. Choose exercises that will not only develop the areas that you want to develop but also make it enjoyable. Enjoyment is an important part of any habit formation. In aiming for your fitness goal lowers your resistance to change. Set a fitness goal that is achievable so you will not be put off by a big change in your lifestyle. Nothing to lose if you start everything small. You will be more motivated to just focus on and nail one exercise each workout. Soon you will be hooked into the habit of tracking all your weights, sets, reps, and rest breaks for that one exercise. It is a work in progress where you have to really be specific in all your workouts. And you never realize you are developing in your new habit and enjoying them too. Remember, to achieve the best results do not race. Instead give yourself a year of slow and continuous change. It will lead to long-term sustainable results and your journey will be easier.
