Normally, the things that you avoid are usually the things that hold up your progression in fitness. Whenever you are doing movements that do not feel natural and you feel weak and tend to hurt your body, you feel to avoid and soon give up. Taking a step away from what you are good at, looking at what you suck at and figuring out why and go from there. You will make a difference in yourself.
Success in attaining your fitness goal is doing everything to get the benefits of all your workouts. You do not just exercise for so-so results. You move in wanting to get a full percentage of every rep, run and hard-earned bead of sweat. It is better to switch things up in order to avoid boredom. This holds true for any exercise variation. It is recommended to perform multiple variations of an exercise that changes the muscles recruited and the amount of weight you will lift. This will lead to greater gains than doing the same exact movement month after month. In addition, it will be helpful to include multiple variations of the same exercise in a single workout like planks and planks with one leg raised, etc. It is beneficial changing those variations every month that will keep your body guessing and getting more gains in your fitness goal.
Success in fitness is not magic. Do the work and get results. It is necessary to change the way you think while working out. Never give up and persevere. Make a difference in yourself and in the world!
