Getting Started with Barre Fitness

If you are new to Barre fitness, allow us to help introduce you to the group fitness program that is changing the way America exercises!
Barre offers a multi-faceted approach to fitness. No two Barre programs are identical. So, you first need to educate and find a class that works for you. At Answer is Fitness, we offer different types of Barre classes, so it's important to find one that meets your fitness level and goals.
When you arrive at the class, make sure you have the right equipment. You'll need to wear comfortable clothes that don't restrict your movement, like yoga pants and a tank top. You'll also need to bring a yoga mat and light hand weights (typically 1-3 pounds).
At the start of the class, our instructor will discuss the exercises you'll be doing and the goals of the class. They'll also demonstrate the proper form and technique for each exercise. Make sure to listen carefully and watch the instructor carefully so you can get the most out of the class.
Finally, remember to take it slow. Barre classes can be intense, and you don't want to overdo it on your first try. Take your time as you get used to the movements and be sure to ask our instructor for help if you need it.
With these tips in mind, you should be ready to dive in, research further, and promptly find a Barre program that works for you.
