For many, the notion of missing a workout is bad…..bad news. However, for some, the thought of exercise is a “must do” and not naturally appealing. The professionals of Answer is Fitness know, however, that it is only a matter of time (and education) before one converts from a fitness “dreader” to being a 24 hour fitness conscious enthusiast.
An effective exercise regiment for the vast majority of people will include a combination of stretch, cardiovascular, and resistance training. Stretch exercises allow us to loosen the muscles and to prepare them for the workout that lies ahead. It is important to spend enough time on stretching exercises because the better prepared our muscles are, the more vigorously we can train them. Cardiovascular training is important because it increases the heart rate, which in turn radically improves blood circulation, thus allowing oxygen and nutrients to flush into the muscles and organs. With a properly warmed up body, and enough oxygen is pumped into the muscles, we will now be optimally prepared for resistance training. This is the training where the body builds muscle by the repeated process of tearing muscle tissue and then repairing it to form a bigger and more powerful muscle.
Would you like to know exactly how activity and the concentrated exertion of energy can positively impact long-term health. When you exercise, your body releases endorphins, which in turn make you feel happy and confident, and motivated. Your metabolism increases. It is medical fact that there is a direct link between exercising and healing. This medical fact gave rise to an entire new industry—physical therapy. Exercise in some form or fashion should be a part of our everyday routine.
Spending hours at the gym every day is not required and not practical for many of us. What we need is a little quality time every day to concentrate to keep fit and healthy. Just remember that exercise makes you happy, lowers blood pressure, increases confidence, and promotes healing. Our Women's Fitness Center hammers these points home on a daily basis. Ladies and gents, we are convinced that the Answer is Fitness will make you an ex-“dreader” in no time. It can all start with you taking us up on our free 30-day pass!
