Ladies, this post is for you. You all will celebrate the movement of Barre. It combines the art of dance in a truly enjoyable cardiac workout. This is low impact (no jumping) workouts designed to tone and shape the entire body. It is self-care giving to yourself to quiet your mind, turn up the music and tune the world out. You will see the changes. With Barre, have a great time sculpting your body.
Many changes will be seen in your body once you are doing Barre. It will improve your balance, enhance flexibility, improve stability through a stronger core, burn calories and a lot more. Getting more comfortable and fit in Barre, you will level up the intensity by adding weights and more challenging moves. You will be surprised seeing those hard-to-target muscles in your core, arms and legs are well-toned. More surprisingly, you will be hitting the bar and getting results. You will get used to performing tiny, one-inch increments called isometric movements. It will ring in your ears your Barre teacher’s words, down an inch, up an inch. And continue at the bar with a lower-body section to work your thighs and glutes. Soon you will finish with a series of core-focused moves at the bar or a short session on the mat.
The wonderful move about the one-inch movement is that you will hold a posture and benefit from continuously engaging the muscle. It will develop your long, lean muscles without bulk. It is important to be aware of your body and figure out what is best for you to lose weight. These isometric movements help isolate specific muscles which is the physical payoff from these tiny pulses. Sculpt a ballerina’s body!
