CIRCUIT FITNESS TRAINING: It’s Fun to Change Things Up
13 March 2021
Fitness should be fun. Far too many of us get into a rut by unimaginative repetition of fitness movements. Fitness becomes fun when it is dynamic, when things change and challenge. Circuit training is a perfect way to achieve this! You have multiple circuit training options to choose from and you can change them up as often as you like.
Being results oriented, involving your entire body to the maximum potential is the most productive workout. Circuit training is a high-volume exercise but low resistance weight workout with a few minute rest intervals in between. There is a set up wherein you perform each station for a specific period or number of reps before moving on to the next one. There is only a limited rest in between movements and rounds because circuit workouts move quickly expecting to finish in 20 minutes or less especially if you use your time effectively. More so, combining the weight training with an increase in cardio workout, you will achieve the great weight loss you have been aiming for and the overall fitness at the same time. However your level of fitness depends also on the level of intensity you will be working out which will burn up calories on average movement to more intense workout.
With circuit training it makes the results you have been aspiring for happen faster. As long as your body keeps on exercising and your heart rate is accelerating, absolutely you will see amazing results that are all worth it. The circuit training will be effective even in a short time because you will be burning fat and also gaining muscle through the resistance training which totally improves your all-round fitness.
