As the holiday approach, we tend to think in extremes. But eating healthy and weight loss does not require an all-or-nothing approach. Nutritionists and personal trainers agree, a healthy lifestyle requires moderation and balance.
How do you eat more healthful? Variety, moderation and balance. Achieving balance is a challenge for many people, especially during the holiday season. Still, try to keep up with healthy nutrition and lifestyle goals, and maintain balance throughout the year.
As the holidays approach, it is more difficult to fit in your daily exercise. The best way to ensure you maintain your routine is to schedule it. Whether that exercise time is with a personal trainer, at an exercise class or on your own, schedule that time in your calendar just as you would a doctor’s appointment or meeting.
But scheduling exercise time you are giving yourself and your mind and body priority. Overtime, this becomes habit.
